I am hoping to make this the post with the most words. That all the other posts are simply the pictures that Zach takes. That the words that are written may simply be a description of what, when, where and that the pictures themselves speak the words that Zach is trying to share.
WHY?
I was at Bible study last night. We are working our way through a book written by Ann Voskamp. Last night's discussion included excerpts from chapter 9, in particular a part where this wonderful author and photographer handed her camera over to her young daughter and then was able to look back at them with a different perspective. Many of the ladies were talking about getting disposable cameras and letting there grandchildren take pictures. One even suggested that I should do the same. I spoke out, "You do realize he comes to my shoulders right? Not much of a different perspective there." Then it was said But you might be surprised what you get, to see what he sees. I said "You might be right about that."
I thought about that. Then I thought about that some more. I thought about it off and on all night in fact. I am almost certain I dreamt about it, but that part I could be wrong. Then I felt the nudge. You know the one where you know exactly what you have to do. The one that comes from the Almighty. I do need to let Zach take pictures. With the camera, with the phone, with his iPad and then share them with the world. Okay, I'm up for that.
The whos, whats, whens, wheres, hows were all a little vague and that's okay because God will help us sort those out as we go along; BUT the whys well those were obvious. To share what he sees, to share his world, to share Pictures Through Zach's Eyes!
Go Tricia and Zach, I enjoy following you on this journey!!!!
