Potter's Photo Shoot

Zach loves our kitty, Potter, very much. So was not surprised by the kitty photo shoot. I will be honest, I am not sure who was being more uncooperative, the photographer or the subject. Both are very independent and want things their way on their own terms. Surprised there are any pictures at all.  Love his determination.

These are just a few pictures from over the last couple weeks.  Trying to encourage him to take pictures of other areas of the yard. Hard to share when we have the same picture of the same tree/bush/house etc.

Down By The River, the Feather River that is

On Wednesday, November 13, 2013; Zach, his behavioral specialist, and I went on a community outing to the old bath house (historical monument down by the Feather River across from the fish Hatchery here in Oroville). Well we tried to at least. Some of the amazing people from a local photographer's business were doing a photo shoot and we didn't want to interrupt them, so we settled for an area a little way down the road. Here are some awesome landscape pics Zach took. The last three I took of my awesome little man writing his name in the dirt, first and last (yes he missed the I in Smith when writing it, but he didn't when he was spelling it out loud). So proud of what this guy is accomplishing.

Chico at Night

 Similar to the pictures from Oroville at night a while back, these pictures from Tuesday night (November 5, 2013) are pretty cool. I love the effect of the lights. I am not sure if this is from him moving or something in the lights but it fascinates me.

Special Trip

Taking advantage of the day off from school on November 1, Zach and I took a long drive with Grandma and Grandpa. We went from Oroville to Santa Rosa and back (3+ hrs one way). For those of you who don't know, Zach LOVES to ride in the car as often and for as long as possible. He loves the sensation of the motion of the car. Here are the pictures we took that day. I took the 3 of just Zach and he took the rest.

At first he didn't want to get out of bed, but once I said we needed to get ready to go for a ride with grandma and grandpa then...

He bounced out of bed and got ready to go.
